Position Deputy Director Education Management Information Systems.
Job Description
The Deputy Director for EMIS will lead the capacity development of
key state staff in EMIS while ensuring that the project develops the
systems and processes that the states can collect, analyse, report
and utilize education data for planning and quality assurance
purpose. Reports to the Chief of Party

• MSC in Mathematics/Statistics with 7 years EMIS
experience or
• PhD in Mathematics/Statistics with 4 years EMIS experience
• 7 years Experience designing and conducting education
census
• 5 years Experience in teaching
• Versatile in use of statistical software (to be tested)
• Superb ICT skills (to be tested)
Position Communications Manager
Job Description
The Communications Manager will manage all project
communications both electronic and print as well as be responsible
for all press evens. S/he will be in charge of ensuring standards and
adherence to USAID branding and marking plan. The position holder
reports to the Chief of Party.

• BA in English, Mass communication or related field
• 5 years experience managing project communications
• Excellent writing skills (to be tested)
• Excellent communication skills
• Good oratory skills
• Experience developing success stories
• Experience as a press person
• Experience editor of print and or electronic media

• Teaching experience will be an added advantage
Position Senior Human Resources Officer
Job Description
The Senior Human Resource Officer will manage HR functions of the
project. S/he will be responsible for managing staff HRT matters and
play a critical role in ensuring that staff rights and privileges are
protected in particular the right of female members of staff.

• MA Human Resource management, plus 4 years experience
• Good writing skills

Position Senior Information Technology Officer
Job Description
The Senior IT Officer will manage all of the IT needs of the project. In
this position, s/he will be responsible for providing technical support
to staff to carry out their duties using ICT. The position holder reports
to the deputy director of EMIS

• Certified IT technician
• Experience networking and wireless technology
• Experience in setting up WAN/Lan systems

Position Security Officer
Job Description The Security Officer is in charge of state level security of staff and our
partners during project events. S/he reports to the Security Advisor

• BSC in Sociology and other social sciences with 4 years
experience managing project security
• At least 3 years experience in security profession
• Retired military/police and or other security service
• Experienced in the north east security field
• Knowledge and experience of security equipment
• Good understanding of child and women rights matters
• Good network within Nigerian security profession
• Good ICT Skills to be tested
Position Finance and Admin. Officer
Job Description
The finance and Admin. Officer will manage project financial
processes and procedures and reports to the Finance and Admin.
Manager.

Requirements
• BSC Accounting/Banking and Finance with 3 years project
experience
• Grant management experience for USAID projects
• Experience in the use of financial accounting software (to be
tested)
• Experience in project finance and audits
• Experienced in project banking
• Knowledge of USAID financial regulations
• ICT skills to be tested
Position Deputy Director Finance and Administration
Job Description
The Deputy Director Finance and Administration
will manage all aspects of the financial and administrative
procedures of the project. S/he will be in charge of all financial
reports and supports the CoP with ensuring compliance with financial
and administrative matters of the project. S/hereport to the Chief of
Party

Position Education Management Information System Specialist
Job Description
The Education Management Information System Specialist
will report to the EMIS deputy director and be responsible for working
directly with state partners and through hands on mentoring and
capacity development, improve their data management skills and
knowledge to improve education data administration within the target
states.

Job Description
The School Improvement Support Specialist will report to the deputy
project director, instructional development. S/he will be responsible
for improving the skills and knowledge of state education managers
to utilize data for teacher and school improvement purposes.

• MSC/MA in Sociology/Psychology, Economics or other
social sciences
• 5 years experience in community development activities
• 3 years Experience in working with schools and parents
• Excellent facilitation skills
• IT skills to be tested
Position Security Advisor
Job Description
The Security Advisor will provide overall guidance and direction for all
security matters that the project staff will likely encounter. S/he will
also be responsible for security of staff both local and international
while ensuring security of training venues and travel to sites. The
position holder reports to the Chief of Party.

• BSC in Sociology and other social sciences with 5 years
experience managing project security
• MSC in security studies plus 2 years experience managing
project security
• At least 5 years experience in security profession
• Retired military/police and or other security service
• Experienced in the north east security field
• Knowledge and experience of security equipment
• Good understanding of child and women rights matters
• Good network within Nigerian security profession
• Good ICT Skills to be tested
